Fritware, painted in blue, black and red under a colourless glaze.
Fritware, probably wheel thrown, painted in blue, black and red under a colourless glaze
Shape: biconical bowl with a plain rim and on a low foot ring.
Interior: the rim is painted with a black line. On the body, panels containing the figure ‘8’ are reserved in blue, black or red. These panels are divided by black vertical lines embellished with diamonds or finials. On the base within a black lobed and dotted roundel, a bird is reserved in black within an irregular shape and surrounded by vases coloured with blue, black or red.
Exterior: on the neck, between two concentric horizontal black bands, a scrolling, looped line is painted in black. In one small area on the lower body, a fleur de lys is outlined in black alongside a circular rosette.
