Potter: Unknown (Possibly)
Earthenware with incised and applied decoration under a green glaze
Buff earthenware, wheel thrown, with incised and applied decoration under a greenish alkaline glaze.
Shape: flange rim on a straight neck and a bi-conical body with a flaring foot ring base. Twisted rope, L-shaped handles, with thumb rests are attached to the upper neck to the body at the point of carination where lugs, are present.
Decoration: incised vertical lines on the upper body and rouletting just above the shoulder. Circular clay discs are applied to the vertical section of the handle and either side of the handles on the upper neck. Turquoise alkaline glaze covers the body unevenly, terminating on the upper body or foot ring and inner rim.
