Earthenware plate, painted underglaze in polychrome with a strawberry surrounded by a repeating pattern of leaves, semi-circles and a band.
Plate. Earthenware, moulded, and painted in blue, green, yellow, orange and brown under blue-tinted glaze. Pratt Ware. Circular with moulded, striated edge, gently sloping rim and deep well. Decorated in the centre with a strawberry and a strawberry leaf on two stems, and on the sides of the well with a repeating pattern comprising three leaves on stems and a yellow spot enclosed by dotted blue semi-circle and an orange semi-circle, radiating inwards from a brown band. The outer edge is blue.
