Description

Agate ware, moulded in two parts with applied handle on the cover, and lead-glazed. The oblong dish has shallow sides, and a narrow projecting rim with curved ends and two indentations on each side. The interior has two double curved rests to take two toothbrushes, and a narrow ledge within the rim on which the cover rests. The cover is of similar shape without the projecting rim, and has three small spaced ventilation holes. The strap handle forms a vertical rectangle in the centre.
