Bowl. Hard-paste porcelain painted in famille rose enamels with trees and flowers, a pavillion and a pagoda behind a castellated wall.
Bowl. Hard-paste porcelain painted in a wide variety of famille rose enamel colours, almost rose-verte, green, yellow, turquoise, pink, black, aubergine and iron-red. The steeply rounded sides are resting on a high tapered foot. The exterior is decorated with a flowering prunus tree flanked by peony and chrysanthemum growing beside low rocks, picked out in aubergine, green, blue and black on the shores of a lake; on the opposite shore is a thatched pavillion set beneath a pine tree and a pagoda behind a castellated wall wreathed in wispy clouds in the distance. The rim has a sepia and gilt cracked-ice border strewn with iron-red flowerheads. The interior has a central pink peony within an iron-red wan-diaper border reserved with floral vignettes round the rim.
