Maker: Unknown
Earthenware jar of a compressed globular shape with an opaque olive green glaze. The neck is short with two ring handles flush with mouth rim. The upper body is decorated with moudled floral scrolls. There is a high iron content in the glaze, slip or body, because glaze does not adhere to various raised edges and most particularly the moulded decoration.
The lower half of the body is undecorated. The foot and base are unglazed and crudely carved, with a reddish brown biscuit coloor.
