The interior has barely discernable floral decoration round the sides and a star-shaped medallion at the centre enclosing a scene painted in famille verte enamels of a pheasant in flight above flowering tree peony with two blooms in iron-red and blue The base has two concentric circles in underglaze blue enclosing the mark.
