The cow is white except for her teats, forehead, and a saddle-like area on her back which are ochre mottled with groups of black spots, and her hoofs, tail and eyes which are black. The man wears a black hat and shoes, a blue jacket, a white shirt with black spots, ochre breeches and white stockings. His spade is black. The dog has black ears, paws and tail.
