Description

Cream earthenware painted in blue, pale green and brownish-orange under bluish lead-glaze

Cream earthenware, press-moulded, and painted in blue, pale green and orange under slightly blue tinted lead-glaze. The underside is open and the interior of the sides of the base are glazed. The cock stands with its legs on either side of a rock or tree stump support. This is coloured pale green, and the cock is randomly dabbed with blue and orange.
