Description

Red earthenware with applied decoration modelled in relief in brown, red and white, and lead-glaze. the vase is shaped like a goblet, on a high foot, with a domed cover. There is a mask on each side of the bowl, flanked by acorns. On one side are three bunches of grapes, while on the other is a flower and foliage. The lid is decorated with an applied bunch of grapes and other fruit, and has a knob in the form of a pear.
