Mr Punch stands, holding a stick in his right hand and a cup in his left. He has a pronounced upward pointing hump on his back and a pointed nose and chin. The figure is well coloured. He wears a blue jacket edged in gilt, a ruff collar, a pointed orange hat, orange and green check trousers, and black shoes. His teeth, bared in a menacing grin, are outlined in red.
