Fritware, wheel thrown, painted in blue, turquoise and black under a transparent white glaze.
Shape: hemispherical bowl on a narrow foot ring
Interior: a radiating design of a blue and turquoise star and triangular panels. Within the panels knot, dots or pseudo calligraphy, are painted in black and blue.
Exterior: the rim is painted black and on the body blue arcading contains a black doted line, imitating a petal design. Impurities within the glaze on the lower body create a lumpy surface; glaze runs over the surface to a point on the lower body
