Description

Cream fritware; blue painted decoration under a clear glaze.

Cream fritware wheel thrown painted in blue under a clear, crazed glaze.
Shape: finely potted carinated bowl with a plain rim; sits on a low foot ring base.
Interior: blue painted lines on a cream background radiate from a central circle containing two irregular dots. Blue painted concentric line on rim interior and exterior.
Exterior: Blue painted lines radiate between concentric lines at rim and foot ring. Glaze and decoration do not cover the very lower area of the foot ring.
