Production: Unidentified Burslem pottery
Greyish-buff stoneware with brown dip on the upper part; handle missing
Greyish-buff stoneware, thrown, turned, and dipped brown on the upper part before salt-glazing. The mug is cylindrical with two turned raised bands above the base and an indented line below the rim. On one side there are the two stumps of the handle.
History note: Probably excavated at Burslem
