Baking dish. Earthenware, moulded, the front with slip-trailed and marbled decoration under lead glaze; reverse unglazed. Rectangular dish with rounded corners and crinkled edge. Decorated in the middle with a cock walking to the left, with the date 1794 below, and a triangular arrangement of dots above.
History note: Puchased by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher from Cunliffe & Co., Hanway Street, London, on April 13th, 1918.
