Description

Cup. Earthenware with slip-trailed decoration under lead glaze. The cup is of ogee profile, with a loop handle. It is decorated on the outside with a row of alternate serrated and narrow leaves.

Notes

History note: Mr Cyril Andrade; Purchased at Putticks by Mr Louis Gautier, Pottery, Ralph Wood and Saltglaze Being the Collection formed by Mr Cyril Andrade, October 23rd, 1925, lot 18, for £4.4; Purchased by Dr J.W.L. Glaisher, September 21st, 1928.
