Description

Pale cream earthenware lid, decorated with a multi-colour underglaze transfer print with black key plate. The glaze is tinted very slightly greyish-blue, and does not cover a small area at 7 o'clock on the top of the lid. Slightly convex. The top is decorated with a view of Strasburg, inscribed 'Strasburg' below; border Fig. VIII, and an outer green marbled border.
