Description

Chair of wood stained grey, the back and seat covered in blue velvet trimmed with yellow silk braid. The left-hand corner of the back embroidered in yellow silk thread with 'E II R' beneath a crown.
The inside of the chair rail at the front of the seat is stamped '1953' and 'W. Hand and Sons Ltd'. There is a black 'ER' surmounted by a crown, with 'coronation' to the right of it.
One of a pair with M.16-1970.
