Large dish. Hard-paste porcelain decorated predominantly in pink, pale blue, turquoise and yellow enamels with two ladies in a garden and similar scenes alternating with flowering plants in panels round the rim.
Large dish. Hard-paste porcelain decorated predominantly in pink, pale blue, turquoise and yellow enamels. The widely flared sides are lightly moulded into eight lotus-petal shaped panels. The interior has a large central medallion showing a lady standing on the steps of an ornate garden pavilion beneath a flowering prunus tree talking to a female companion standing on a balustraded terrace, two birds fluttering above her head. The scene is repeated in a simplified version on four of the lotus petals around the well, interspersed with panels enclosing birds perched on pink prunus trees beside canes of bamboo.
