Production: Unknown
Light grey stoneware box and cover, with a thin light greyish green glaze. The lid has a deeply incised pattern round the sides with a small stalk like handle. The inside of the top of the lid has a convex surface. The rim of the lid and the internal lip of the base are unglazed. Slightly recessed glazed base.
There are many patches of kiln sand attached all over the box and cover, inside and out.
