Hard-paste porcelain saucer dish painted in enamel colours and gilding. The shallow flared sides gently angled above the low tapered foot. The interior is finely enamelled with two ladies beside a narrow wooden desk, one standing holding a fan and looking down at the other seated on an elaborate chair, holding a brush and contemplating a brown leaf. A blue and yellow stool is to one side, and a high gilded table to the other, set with gilt objects.
Mark: Six character mark of Yongzheng written horizontally within a double circle in underglaze blue, painted on the reverse.
