Ruby ground hard-paste porcelain teabowl, decorated in enamel colours and gilding. The steeply flared sides spring from a high tapered foot. The exterior has two lobed panels enclosing pink crabs beside floral clusters, divided by two archaistic dragon medallions in gilding and iron red, reserved against a rich raspberry-pink ground. The white interior with a single gilt flowerhead at the centre
