Porcelain dish with a circular foot and bronze rim. Design stamped. The dish is decorated in the centre with a lotus leaf, flowers and water weeds, on wavey ground. Around this is a band of wave pattern, with four fishes, lotus, and other water plants in high relief. Ting ware
History note: This dish is one of a pair that belonged to Yuan, the tutor of the boy Emperor (1922). Bought from Yamanaka, April 1922
