Description

This urn is made of entirely slab of porcelain. The body is of oblong octagonal shape, with slopping upper part and flat oval cover. The whole body is supported by four lions, showing every evidence of an attempt at realism, which may have adapted from the arms of Hon East Indian Company. The wall enclose an outer and inner compartment. One mask acting as a drain for the outer, and one for filling the outer compartment. With two damaged scroll handles, and a lid with pomegranate and spray for knop. Gilt decorations, some worn.
