A study of the interior of the chapel of Robinson College, Cambridge, designed between 1977 and 1981. Piper did not just design the glass windows of the chapel for which he had been commissioned, but also became involved with Isi Metzstein, the project architect from the Glasgow firm of Gillespie, Kidd and Coia, in the design of all manner of furnishings as well: the wooden cross and candlesticks, the tapestries, altar-cloths and hassocks. He advised on the tiling, the font, the altar for the side chapel and the eighty stacking chairs, stained blue.
