Fragment of a bowl centre. Pale buff earthenware, tin-glazed on both sides. Painted in blue, green, and orange.
Irregularly-shaped, four-sided fragment with part of the convex centre and curved side.
On the inside part of a central medallion with a basket of fruit, surrounded by concentric bands of geometrical motifs. On the base, a blue asterisk. On the side, the lower part of a 'petal back' design: dot-filled blue triangles, and blue petal outlines filled with transverse blue and orange stripes.
History note: Probably found near the Duomo in Orvieto, where purchased by the donor.
