Description

Fragment of a hollow vessel. Buff earthenware, tin-glazed on both sides, but thinly on the interior. Painted in blue, yellow, orange, black.
Four-sided convex fragment.
A fish swimming to the right reserved in a yellow ground with a horizontal orange line and several vertical strokes below it.

Notes

History note: Probably found near the Duomo in Orvieto, where purchased by the donor.
