Buff earthenware, tin-glazed on the front and lead-glazed brownish-yellow on the reverse. Painted in blue, yellow, and orange. Four-sided fragment of the well, and rim of a dish. In the well is an orange semi-circle with an area of pale blue below and an area of darker blue above. On the shoulder or inner edge of the rim, there is scale pattern.
History note: Probably found near the Duomo in Orvieto, where purchased by the donor.
