Description

Fragment of a dish centre. Pale buff earthenware, tin-glazed on the front and painted in blue, green, and yellow; reverse unglazed. Approximately triangular with part of the footring. Part of the hind legs of a hoofed animal, probably a horse

History note: Acquired in Bologna between 1908 and 1910, by the donor, Richard Sneade Brown (1851-1917) of Heathcote, Worthing
