Fragment of a dish. Red earthenware covered with white slip and dapled in blue on both sides under lead glaze; the underside of the base and footring is unglazed.
Five-sided with a slight central depression, standing on a footring.

History note: Acquired in northern Italy, probably in Padua, between 1908-1910 by the donor, Richard Sneade Brown (1851-1917), Heathcote, Worthing
