Clockwise from upper left: sketch of top of head and right arm of putto, looking down (pen and brown ink over graphite); sketch of left side of putto's head, slightly from behind (pen and brown ink over graphite); full-length study of putto, left arm held up, right arm bent upwards, legs as if running (pen and brown ink over graphite); half-length sketch of right side of reclining putto, right arm held across chest (pen and brown ink, brown wash, white highlights over graphite); pair of legs, slightly bent, soles of feet visible (pen and brown ink, brown wash over graphite); viewed from left, pair of legs and lower torso, reclining, with right leg crossed over left, torso partially shrouded in drapery (pen and brown ink, brown wash over graphite with very slight traces of white); seated putto, with legs crossed, turned slightly to left, right arm held across chest, head leant slightly towards a skull on right (pen and brown ink, brown wash, white highlights over graphite).
