Soft-paste porcelain butter dish, decorated with a yellow ground and painted in dark pink with landscapes.
Soft-paste porcelain, decorated with a yellow ground and painted in crimson (camaieu pourpre) enamel. Circular with vertical sides, and two vertical, pierced rectangular lugs on opposite sides of the rim. On the exterior there are two pairs of reeded bands between which are two crimson landscapes. One includes a boat on a river with a building on the left, and a church spire in the distance; the other has a river with a windmill on the left and a church spire in the distance. Between them there are rocks, bushes, and low trees on either side. Above and below there are three horizontal gold bands and a broad zone of yellow ground. The base is encircled by a narrow gold band encircles and there is a dentilated band round the rim.
