Recto: upper left, full-length ?male figure, wearing robes with large sleeves, body turned slightly to left, gaze cast upwards; upper centre, study of part of a ?tunic; upper right, study of upper part of a garment with sleeves; above centre, broad brimmed hat; right of centre, outline of torso, head and arms of figure, in profile to left, with arm raised; lower left, detail of a large sleeve with hand emerging; lower centre, boddice with dagged hem and sleeves; lower right, ?smock from behind, with slits, top and bottom, and large decorated sleeves.
