"This edition of 380 copies is keyboarded & cast at Whittington in 11, 12 and 18 point Caslon, and printed on Zerkall mould-made papers. The engravings are printed from the wood, & the tritone plates are printed by CTD Printers. The 136 leather & quarter-vellum copies each contain a set of tipped in specimum pages, mostly from the original printing. Bound by The Fine Bindery with papers marbled by Rebecca Gryspeerdt. 28 copies (i-xxviii) are bound in inlaid leathers to a design by Miriam Macgregor, with a separate portfolio of Press ephemera. 28 copies (I-XXVIII) are bound in full Oasis leather with Whittington marbled endpapers, with a separate portfolio of Press ephemera. 80 copies (1-80) are quarter-bound in vellum and Whittington marbled sides. 244 copies (1-244 without the tipped in specimen pages) are quarter bound in buckram with pochoir sides to a design by Miriam Macgregor..."--Colophon. This is copy no: 38. Copy includes 41 samples tipped in. Quarter bound in vellum with marbled sides. Issued in slipcase.
