"This is the second of a series of Fleece Press books on the wood and copper engravings of John Buckland Wright, and it has been printed on specially made Zerkall paper, dampened before use. The 16 point Centaur and Arrighi type was cast by Peter J. Sanderson at Whittington Court, and there are 240 copies, of which six (lettered A to F, not for sale) are bound in full classic vellum, housed in a solander box; they are accompanied by a set of prints made on Japanese gampi vellum. Thirty numbered copies are bound in classic vellum, housed in a solander box, and signed by Christopher Buckland Wright. Two hundred and four copies are bound in quarter natural vellum and Compton marbled paper, housed in a solander box. All the books were bound by Smith Settle, in Otley, who also printed the photographs"--Colophon. Museum copy is marked as "defective copy" and signed by Christopher Buckland Wright. Lacks set of additional prints Bound in full vellum with cloth-covered solander box.
