The text is the "Garth translation": a collection of translations by Dryden, Pope, Congreve, Addison, Garth, and others, collated and edited by Sir Samuel Garth in 1717. The etchings were made for this edition by Hans Erni."--Colophon Museum has copy no. 140 signed by Hans Erni and Giovanni Mardersteig. Quarter brown in linen with patterned green paper sides over boards. Issued in slipcase (brown paper over card).
