The illustrations were drawn as lithographs, on sheets of acetate, by Roger Duvoisin and printed at The Plantin Press; and the colors were applied by hand, through stencils, in the studio of Walter Fischer in new York..."--Colophon. Museum has copy number "J.D." signed by the illustrator. Bound in brown-flecked aqua basket-weave linen (monk's cloth binding) decorated with paper labels. Lacks slipcase.
