Walnut chair with shallow carved open back and solid splat, cabriole legs with shells on knees and claw and ball feet. The splat joins the back frame at the waist. The balloon-shaped drop-in seat is covered with velvet, and the curved seat rail is decorated with a shell in the centre. One of a pair with M.10B-1961
