Volume is bound in dark green leather with gold inlaid margins and decorations on the spine. It has two brass coloured clasps on the front cover and corresponding metal bars on the back cover to allow the volume to be held shut. The pages are gold edged; each folio page is protected by a tissue paper interleaf.
