Bottle. Hard-paste porcelain decorated underglaze with a powder-blue ground and painted in famille verte enamels, and gilding. The slender, pear-shaped body is resting on a low, slightly splayed foot and tapering towards the tall neck encircled by a horizontal bulge beneath the flared rim, which is mounted in silver. The mottled soft blue ground is reserved round the widest part of the body with four barbed quatrefoil vignettes alternately enclosing 'Antiques', sprays of chrysanthemum and prunus entwined with bamboo growing from rockwork, surmounted by two smaller barbed quatrefoil vignettes, one enclosing a flowering spray and the other a flower vase, beneath two fan-shaped cartouches enclosing flowers growing from rockwork on the shoulders; these are all picked out in famille verte enamels and reserved against floral scrollwork in gilding, now largely faded. There is a gilt classic scroll band round the neck. The base is white.
