"This memorial volume ... is the first book to be hand printed on his Kelmscott 'Chaucer' Press by the Press of the Woolly Whale. The illustration of the Press is from a careful drawing by Warren Chappell. Set by hand in the original English Caslon Old Face 16 point, a modest number of copies (besides four on vellum) have been printed damp on Arnold Unbleached by George W. Van Vechten, Jr."--Colophon. Quarter bound in vellum, gold stamped, with grey paper sides blind stamped with an impression of the Press on the front cover.
