Bronze. The long curved handle of this petal-shaped spoon has a swallow-tail terminal. The handle is marked with raised lines like sections of a bamboo stem, and widens slightly near the tail end. The metal is very thin and has a brownish-black patina.

It is not clear whether this type of spoon was actually used for eating or for some ceremonial purpose. Such spoons have often been found in Koryo tombs together with bronze bowls and chopsticks.
