Spoon made of 'fruitwood', probably pearwood (Pyrus communis L.); folding, in the form of two hinged oval bowls. The back of the one used as a handle is carved with a tree with stylised flowers and fruit within a gadroon border; the inside is deeply carved as a woman on horseback.

Wood species identified by Alan J. Clapham on 4 September 2025 as most likely pearwood (Pyrus communis L.), also known as ‘fruitwood’, and obtained from the orchard pear or the wild pear tree (Edlin, 2000).
