Mother-of-pearl and gilt metal; mother-of-pearl bowl on a folding gilt metal cast handle with warrior finial
Mother-of-pearl and gilt metal; the shallow oval mother-of-pearl bowl is pinned to a gilt metal openwork mount, which meets the handle with a hinge. The mount is engraved with scrolling foliage. The handle is cast with a cherub's head, a baluster, a mask and flower, and terminates in a finial of the bust of a Roman soldier.
The folding mechanism is missing.
