Lilac agate and gilt metal; oval bowl and handle with gilt metal mounts and female finial
Agate and gilt metal; oval bowl and short cylincrical handle carved of lilac agate with gilt metal mounts and terminal. Pinned to the bowl is a gilt metal leaf-shaped engraved mount, which is attached by an openwork triple scroll to the ring-shaped mount on the agate handle. The handle terminates with another ring-shaped mount on which sits a finial in the form of a half length female term.
