Description

Brown moss agate and gilt metal; egg-shaped bowl with gilt metal handle with female term

Agate and gilt metal; the egg-shaped bowl is carved of chestnut brown moss agate with a rat's tail on the back. The metal gilt handle is attached under the bowl with a small shell. The narrow stem curves upwards and terminates in a female term with folded arms carrying a shield on her back.
