Mother-of-pearl, coral, silver and silver-gilt spoon. The oval bowl carved from mother-of-pearl and pinned to the long narrow handle. The first two sections of the handle are of mother-of pearl, which is crudely engraved with a pattern of flowers and chevrons, and has a silver-gilt band. Above are four wide bands of coral engraved with flowers and foliage and spaced by narrow silver bands. The handle terminates in a narrow undecorated coral tip.
