Steel and ivory; each knife has a steel blade and a parcel-gilt cut steel and silver and facetted-ivory handle
Steel and ivory; each knife has a steel blade with parellel sides and a solid bolster; the tapering oval section handle broadens towards the rounded terminal. The decorated handle, the first section of which is forged from one piece with the blade, comprises three bands of steel cut with a geometric pattern, stamped and gilded and inlaid/overlaid with stamped silver floral and foliate(?) motifs; interspersed by two narrow facetted-ivory spacers.
