Silver, parcel-gilt and niello; the silver knife has a plain blade on a handle nielloed with the trophies of war
Silver, parcel-gilt and niello; the knife has a silver slightly pointed spatulate blade; the silver handle is of rectanglar section which broadens slightly towards the silver-gilt terminal. The two flat sides of the handle are inlaid with niello panels depicting the trophies of war, including a drum, horns and swords. The narrow sides are engraved with a ropework border. There is a narrow silver-gilt ferrule. The silver-gilt terminal is of architectural domed form and is chased with panels of flowers.
