Factory: New Hall Porcelain Factory
Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, painted with black and red enamel, and gilded: narrow border of zig-zag leaves with gold and puce berries. Pattern no. 280.
Hybrid hard-paste porcelain, thrown, glazed, and painted overglaze in puce and black enamel, and gilded. There are a few black speckles in the glaze in the interior. Circular with deep curved sides, standing on a footring. Decorated in gold in the centre with a stylized flowerhead with dotted extensions creating a star, and round the top of the sides with a narrow border formed by a continuous black wavy stem with small trefoil leaves, gold trefoil leaves, and puce berries. A gold band encircles the rim, and there is one on the exterior below the rim, and another at the top of the footring.
